Staging: Staging is the platform on which actors, musicians or entertainers stand and perform. It can be raised from a couple feet or as high as a tractor trailor, depending on the occaision. It needs to be strong enough to hold any weight and shifting which may come from a performance, so that both entertainers and the public are safe and free to enjoy the show in its entirety
After the show, staging needs to be portable enough to be broken down and packed up by road crews so they're able to be 'rolled out' once again for another show. With all this, staging requires more time to arrange and assemble and disassemble than either lighting or sound reinforcement.
